Tuah Bersatu Jaya Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Site Supervisor for Ranau, Sabah. This full-time role entails overseeing all on-site activities, ensuring safety, managing resources, and delivering high-quality workmanship on construction projects.

The successful candidate will lead a diverse workforce, interpret drawings, monitor schedules and budgets, and maintain comprehensive site records to support project success and timely delivery.

Formación

• Minimum 5–7 years' experience in construction site supervision.
• Proven track record of managing construction projects from inception through completion.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and train a diverse workforce.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Sound understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning.
• Certification in construction safety (e.g., CIDB competency) or equivalent qualifications.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site, ensuring work progresses according to schedule and project specifications.
• Manage and train site workers, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols, company policies, and industry best practices.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Monitor and control material usage, equipment allocation, and resource management to optimise efficiency and reduce wastage.
• Liaise with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and effective coordination.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, progress documentation, and safety logs.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly whilst maintaining quality standards and project deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant construction regulations, environmental requirements, and company procedures.
• Supervise the setup and maintenance of site facilities and ensure the site remains organised and secure.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Supervisor to join our team in Ranau, Sabah. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects. As Senior Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing resources efficiently, and maintaining the highest standards of workmanship. What we're looking for

A minimum of 5–7 years' experience in construction site supervision or a similar supervisory role within the construction industry

Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from inception through completion

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, safety regulations, and industry standards

Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and train a diverse workforce

Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents

Sound understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning

Certification in construction safety (or willingness to obtain relevant certifications) such as CIDB competency or equivalent qualifications

Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a focus on maintaining quality and safety standards

Computer literacy with experience in site management software is advantageous

Ability to work effectively in demanding environments and adapt to changing project requirements
