About the role

C N H CONSTRUCTION (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor (Infrastructure) to join our dynamic construction team based in Bukit Jelutong, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in overseeing and managing infrastructure construction projects on site. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities are executed in accordance with project specifications, safety regulations, and timelines. This role is essential to the successful delivery of our infrastructure projects and directly impacts project quality, safety performance, and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities and coordinate between project teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project schedules
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, verify compliance with design specifications, and identify any issues or deviations requiring corrective action
• Implement and maintain strict health and safety protocols across the site, ensuring all workers adhere to safety standards and conduct regular safety briefings and toolbox meetings
• Manage site documentation, including daily reports, progress records, variation orders, and quality assurance logs
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project managers to resolve technical issues and implement solutions on site
• Supervise and mentor site workers and labourers, providing direction, feedback, and training where necessary
• Monitor material deliveries and manage site inventory to ensure adequate supplies for ongoing construction activities
• Maintain site housekeeping and ensure proper storage and handling of materials and equipment in compliance with project requirements
• Report on project progress, safety incidents, and any constraints or delays affecting the project timeline
• Liaise with clients and relevant authorities to ensure compliance with all regulatory and environmental requirements

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1-5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or similar supervisory role within infrastructure construction projects
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure construction methodologies, including roads, bridges, drainage systems, or related projects
• In-depth understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices in the construction industry
• Proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in site documentation, reporting systems, and familiarity with construction management software
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to make sound decisions under pressure
• Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and standard construction practices
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within project locations as required
• Ability to work extended hours when necessary to meet project deadlines
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
• Relevant certifications such as CIDB (Construction Industry Development Board) certification or HSE qualifications (advantageous)
