The role requires at least 3 years in supervision of residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to read drawings and use construction management software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a construction supervisory or foreperson role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, codes, and safety regulations in Malaysia.
• Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to coordinate teams.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/engineering drawings and specs.
• Proficiency in construction management software and basic computer literacy.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to site locations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on site per schedules and specs.
• Monitor workforce performance, allocation, productivity, and conduct safety briefings.
• Inspect work quality and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Maintain site records: daily logs, progress, inventories, incidents.
• Coordinate between site teams, project management, clients and subcontractors.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards on site.
• Report progress, challenges, and resolutions to senior management.
• Manage site housekeeping and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify resource needs and coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and labour.

About the role

M CREATIVE SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Project Site Supervisor to join our construction team in Perai, Penang. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects. As Project Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, managing workforce productivity, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. This position is integral to our operations, bridging communication between senior management and on-site teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specification.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on site, ensuring work progresses according to project schedules and specifications
• Monitor and manage workforce performance, including labour allocation, productivity tracking, and discipline
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety briefings to ensure all personnel understand project safety protocols and requirements
• Inspect work quality throughout all project stages, identifying defects early and ensuring corrective actions are implemented promptly
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, progress reports, material inventories, and incident reports
• Liaise between site teams, project management, clients, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and coordination
• Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across all site operations
• Report on project progress, challenges, and resolutions to senior management on a regular basis
• Manage site housekeeping and ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards
• Identify resource requirements and coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and labour as needed

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a construction supervisory or foreperson role on residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, and safety regulations in Malaysia
• Proven track record of managing teams effectively, with excellent leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
• Competency in using construction management software and basic computer literacy
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to site locations as required
• Formal qualifications such as Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent; construction-related certifications (CIDB or similar) are highly desirable
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, cost control, and resource management
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
