Job summary

Hong Bee Land in Malaysia is seeking a site supervisor to oversee daily construction activities on large-scale developments. You will ensure works align with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards while coordinating with engineers, managers and subcontractors.

With a minimum of 2 years in supervision, you will review technical documents, maintain records, and drive on-site quality and progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction supervision.
• Diploma or higher in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates with full working rights in Malaysia with DOSH and NIOSH certifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities to ensure works follow drawings, specs, method statements and project requirements.
• Monitor work progress, workmanship, safety, and adherence to project schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities and project documentation.
• Read and interpret drawings and technical documents, address discrepancies.
• Liaise with Site Manager, Consultants, Project Managers, engineers, subcontractors, and others to coordinate site activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site personnel to ensure safe, efficient work per requirements.
• Report daily site activities, progress, delays and issues to the Site Manager.
• Follow up on outstanding technical matters to minimize delays and ensure smooth execution.
• Identify, troubleshoot and assist in resolving site issues and construction challenges.
• Distribute and maintain site instructions, drawings, and other project documents.

Read and interpret construction drawings, details, and technical documents, and identify any discrepancies or technical issues.

Liaise with the Site Manager, Consultants, Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors, and other relevant parties to coordinate site activities and resolve issues promptly.

Monitor and coordinate subcontractors and site personnel to ensure work is carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project requirements.

Report daily site activities, progress, delays, and issues to the Site Manager.

Follow up on outstanding technical and site matters to minimize delays and ensure smooth project execution.

Identify, troubleshoot, and assist in resolving site issues and construction challenges.

Ensure proper distribution and maintenance of site instructions, drawings, and other relevant project documents.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 2 years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in large-scale projects.

Diploma or higher in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.

In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Candidates with full working rights in Malaysia with valid certifications from DOSH and NIOSH.
