Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Ipoh, Perak is seeking a skilled Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

You will coordinate trades, monitor safety and quality, manage resources, read blueprints, mentor junior staff, and report progress to project managers and clients.

Qualifications

• CIDB Green Card and a construction-related skill certificate are required.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder liaison.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs.
• Problem-solving, decisions under pressure and teamwork ability.

Our Company is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team in Ipoh, Perak. As a Site Supervisor, you will be supervising the day-to-day operations of our construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

What you'll be doing

Coordinate and supervise the work of construction teams, including tradespeople, labourers, and subcontractors

Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and quality control measures

Manage the allocation of resources, including equipment, materials, and labour, to optimise efficiency and productivity

Liaise with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide progress updates and address any issues or concerns

Identify and resolve any problems or conflicts that arise on the construction site in a timely and effective manner

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the project, including timesheets, inventory, and quality control reports

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the construction team

What we're looking for

Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar construction role with CIDB green card and skill certificate

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment, as well as relevant safety regulations and industry best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders

Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical specifications

Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding practical solutions

Familiarity with project management software and tools, such as scheduling and budgeting applications

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
