Job summary

ESTONE SURFACES SDN BHD in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee daily stone and quartz stone installation works at project sites, coordinate with project team, and ensure work aligns with drawings, measurements and specifications.

You will monitor workers and subcontractors, ensure quality, safety, and timely handovers, review site progress, take progress photos, and communicate with clients and other trades to keep installations on schedule.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily stone/quartz stone installation works at project sites.
• Monitor workers, subcontractors and installers to ensure work follows drawings, measurements and specs.
• Ensure proper installation of quartz stone, granite and other materials per quality standards.
• Check site measurements and coordinate with office/QS/Project Team before fabrication and installation.
• Coordinate site activities, delivery of materials and installation schedules.
• Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed on schedule.
• Identify and report site issues, defects and discrepancies to the Project Manager.
• Ensure workers follow installation procedures and site safety requirements.
• Take site photos and prepare daily progress reports when required.
• Coordinate with clients, main contractors, consultants and other trades on site.
• Maintain clean and safe work area; attend to defects and handover matters.

Job description

Supervise and coordinate daily stone/quartz stone installation works at project sites.

Monitor workers, subcontractors and installers to ensure work is carried out according to drawings, measurements and specifications.

Ensure quartz stone, granite and other stone materials are installed properly and according to the required quality standards.

Check site measurements and coordinate with the office/QS/Project Team before fabrication and installation.

Coordinate site activities, delivery of materials and installation schedules.

Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to the agreed schedule.

Identify and report site issues, defects, damages and discrepancies to the Project Manager.

Ensure workers follow proper installation procedures and site safety requirements.

Take site photos and prepare daily progress reports when required.

Coordinate with clients, main contractors, consultants and other trades on site.

Ensure the work area is properly maintained and cleaned after installation.

Attend to defects, rectification works and handover matters.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Site Supervisor, preferably in the stone, quartz stone, kitchen cabinet, renovation or construction industry.

Experience in quartz stone/granite/marble measurement and installation is an advantage.

Able to read drawings and understand site measurements.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Able to supervise workers and subcontractors effectively.

Able to work independently and solve site-related problems.

Willing to travel to different project sites.

Possess a valid driving licence is an advantage.
