Job summary

Seri Yakin Sdn Bhd is seeking a Site Supervisor to monitor on-site execution of construction projects in Malaysia. The role focuses on adherence to drawings, codes, and quality standards.

You will coordinate with subcontractors and consultants, track progress, manage testing and inspection, and maintain HSSE records to meet authority guidelines.

Candidates should have a Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field and at least three years of experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years working experience
• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or other equivalent fields

Responsibilities

• Understand and interpret construction drawings proficiently
• Coordinate with all parties, including subcontractors and consultants, to resolve on-site issues
• Assist with actual site implementation with thorough understanding of testing and inspection procedures, quality and specification requirements, as well as ISO forms
• Assist with daily monitoring and updating of work progress, ensuring smooth implementation of the master programme whilst maintaining the quality of works
• Understand and implement the master programme, construction methodology, manpower, materials and plant schedules
• Ensure timely completion of rectification works for all defects and maintain records for defects
• Evaluate progress payment claims, variations and final measurement of works completed
• Monitor the implementation of Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) standards to ensure project compliance with authority guidelines
• Maintain proper records, updated drawings, amendments and filed forms
• Provide support in resolving on-site issues, hindrances and disputes amicably
