Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a capable Site Supervisor to lead daily on-site construction activities and ensure work aligns with drawings, specs, and project requirements.

The role requires 1–2 years in construction or site supervision, with strong leadership and communication skills and proficiency in Word/Excel; AutoCAD is a plus. Immediate availability is preferred, and internships are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Certificate, Diploma, or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in the construction industry or site supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel; knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site.

Review construction drawings and specifications to ensure work is carried out correctly.

Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.

Monitor construction methods and workmanship to maintain quality standards.

Ensure compliance with site safety requirements, company policies, and statutory regulations.

Attend site meetings and prepare site progress reports.

Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers to ensure smooth project execution.

Plan and monitor site materials to ensure timely delivery and minimize wastage.

Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to the project schedule.

Conduct site inspections and report any issues or non-conformance.

Maintain proper project documentation and site records.

Report site issues, delays, and technical concerns to the Project Manager and assist in implementing corrective actions.

Job Requirement

Candidate must possess at least a Certificate, Diploma, or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Construction Management, or a related field.
