About the role
We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join KONTRAKTOR PEMBINAAN W Y PANG in Johor. This is a full-time position based on-site, where you will play a critical role in overseeing construction activities and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations on construction sites, coordinating teams, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety across all project activities.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate construction teams on-site, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with project specifications and timelines
- Monitor daily construction activities and progress against project schedules, identifying and resolving delays promptly
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety and environmental regulations and company safety policies at all times
- Manage site documentation, including daily logs, progress reports and incident records
- Coordinate with contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure materials and resources are available as required
- Perform quality inspections and ensure construction work meets required standards and specifications
- Address and resolve site-related issues, conflicts and safety concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain effective communication between on-site teams and management, providing regular progress updates
- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment, tools and facilities on-site
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Foreman in the construction industry, preferably 3+ years in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building regulations and safety standards relevant to the Malaysian construction sector
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and supervise construction teams effectively
- Sound understanding of project management, scheduling and budget control
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, plans and specifications
- Competency in site documentation and record keeping
- A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction supervision, health and safety or project management are advantageous
