Job summary

Optical Power Engineering Sdn Bhd – Gerisek, Johor is seeking a diligent site support person to assist the Site Manager with planning, monitoring and controlling daily works at project sites. You will ensure adherence to QESH policies and legal requirements while coordinating subcontractors and maintaining site safety.

Responsibilities include coordinating inspections per ITPs, ensuring quality control, and submitting materials for consultant approval. Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Construction / Operations / Project / Site Manager to plan, monitor and control daily works at the project sites.
• Implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the QESH management system.
• Comply with legal and other requirements applicable to the organization.
• Ensure project operations and document control procedures are adhered to.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor subcontractor’s activities at project sites.
• Maintain good housekeeping and implement safety practices.
• Ensure all works carried out are in accordance with drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures, work instructions, etc.
• Ensure inspections and tests are carried out as per Inspection and Test Plans and that quality control mechanisms are used.
• Submit sample materials and calibration certificates to relevant consultants for approval.
• Ensure workers and subcontractors adhere to good housekeeping and QESH practices.
• Undertake any other duties as instructed by the superior.
