Job summary

Optical Power Engineering Sdn Bhd in Gerisek is seeking a Site Supervisor for a full-time on-site role. You will support the Construction/Operations/Project/Site Manager to plan, monitor and control daily works at project sites, ensuring alignment with drawings and construction plans.

The role requires adherence to QESH policies, safety practices, and document control procedures, with responsibility to coordinate subcontractors and maintain good housekeeping on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising construction sites and coordinating daily activities.
• Familiar with QESH management system and procedures.
• Ability to plan, monitor and control works on-site.
• Knowledge of drawings, specifications and construction plans.
• Capable of coordinating subcontractors and ensuring safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager to plan, monitor and control daily works at project sites.
• Implement policies, procedures, and instructions per QESH management system.
• Comply with applicable legal and other requirements.
• Ensure project operations and document control procedures are followed.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor subcontractor activities at project sites.
• Maintain housekeeping and implement safety practices.
• Ensure works align with drawings, specifications and construction plans.
• Ensure inspections and tests are performed per ITPs and quality control measures.
• Submit sample materials and calibration certificates for approval.
• Ensure workers and subcontractors adhere to QESH practices.
• Undertake other duties as instructed by superior.

Responsibilities:

• To assist the Construction / Operations / Project / Site Manager to plan, monitor and control daily works at the project sites.
• To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the QESH management system.
• To comply with legal and other requirements applicable to the organization.
• To ensure that project operations and document control procedures are adhered to.
• To plan, coordinate and monitor subcontractor's activities at project sites.
• To maintain good housekeeping and implement safety practices.
• To ensure that all works carried out are in accordance with the drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures, work instructions, etc.
• To ensure that inspection and tests are carried out as per Inspection and Test Plans and that all quality control mechanisms are being used. Results of such to conform to specifications.
• To submit sample materials and calibration certificates to relevant consultants for approval.
• To ensure that workers and subcontractors adhere to good housekeeping and implement QESH practices.
• To ensure that all construction works carried out are in accordance with the QESH procedures, instructions and practices.
• To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.
