Perak Hydroelectric Scheme. This role offers the opportunity to lead and oversee all construction execution activities at Stesen-stesen Janakuasa Sg. Perak, ensuring safe, timely and quality delivery of critical rehabilitation works.

The Site Supervisor will assist the Project Engineer in monitoring all on-site activities, ensuring that the project adheres to approved drawings, method statements, and environmental and safety regulations. With at least 8 years of experience in the construction industry, the ideal candidate will be familiar with EPCC projects and have a keen eye for quality control and compliance. This role requires proactive reporting of all non-conformities and close collaboration with the Project Engineer to maintain high project standards.
This role is primarily based in Stesen Janakuasa Temenggor, Bersia dan Kenering, Perak and involves close coordination with various internal and external stakeholders.
Work Monitoring:
Assist the Project Engineer in monitoring daily work progress on-site, ensuring activities are executed as per the approved drawings and method statements.
Quality Control:
Verify that all on-site work meets quality standards, checking materials, methods, and workmanship for compliance with project specifications.
Safety and Environmental Compliance:
Ensure contractors comply with all safety, environmental, and legislative requirements on-site, promoting a safe and responsible work environment.
Non-Conformance Reporting:
Identify and report any non-conformities in work, materials, or practices to the Project Engineer, documenting findings for corrective action.
Coordination with Contractors:
Maintain open communication with contractors and subcontractors, ensuring they understand project specifications and compliance requirements.
Site Inspections:
Conduct regular inspections of the site to assess progress and identify potential risks, hazards, or issues that may impact project quality or safety.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, non-conformities, and inspections, reporting findings to the Project Engineer and ensuring timely resolution.
Education: Diploma or relevant technical certification in Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in the construction industry, with substantial experience in EPCC projects and site supervision.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction drawings, method statements, and quality standards. Familiarity with environmental, health, and safety regulations in the construction industry.
Communication and Reporting Skills: Effective communication skills for reporting to the Project Engineer and coordinating with contractors.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail for verifying work quality, spotting non-conformities, and ensuring compliance.
Previous experience working on EPCC projects in the power generation or industrial sectors.
