Job Description
Job Function: The Site Supervisor (Electrical) is responsible for supervising and coordinating electrical works at site to ensure activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and timelines. The role includes monitoring site progress, managing contractors and manpower, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, conducting inspections, preparing reports, and supporting testing and commissioning activities to ensure successful project completion.
Duties & Responsibilities
Plan for construction (Electrical & Instrument)
- Plans for construction schedule by studying project concept, drawings, and models.
- Prepare/Review the project specific in-house procedure and ensure that they comply with contract requirement and Plant Regulation.
- Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Construction (Electrical & Instrument)
- Monitor Daily & Monthly work progress and report to Construction Manager.
- Take necessary actions in order to keep up with the current status of project progress.
- Supporting Construction Manager on designated works related to measurement of progress, planning, schedule control and man-hour control.
- Manage the supervision of construction staffs and Implementation of Project Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and Project Quality Plan.
- Confirms adherence to construction specifications and safety standards by monitoring project progress and inspecting construction site.
- Maintains operations by enforcing project and operational policies and procedures.
- Fulfils project requirements by training and guiding operators.
- Supporting the enforcement of HSE requirement as appended to the Procedures.

Preferred Qualification and Experience
- Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of working experience in electrical site supervision or related construction/project environment.
- Experience in supervising electrical installation, testing, and commissioning works.
- Knowledge of local electrical regulations, safety requirements, and industry standards.
- Experience in coordinating with contractors, consultants, and clients at site.
- Possession of relevant competency certification or chargeman certificate is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with project documentation, reporting, and site coordination processes; computer literate especially in Microsoft Offices.
- Possess basic knowledge of site activities, practices and procedures in the Construction field and materials.
- Good communication skills, problem‑solving skills, and multitasking skills with keen attention to details.
- Ability to work independently and proactively follow up on discrepancies or pending tasks to ensure timely resolution.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
- Positive attitude, able to coordinate and work as a team.
- Willing to travel (have own transport) and to be based at construction site.
