Job summary

TNB Repair and Maintenance Sdn. Bhd. invites applications for the position of Site Supervisor to support the Life Extension Program at the Sg.

Perak Hydroelectric Scheme. The role focuses on leading and overseeing all construction execution activities to ensure safe, timely and quality rehabilitation works. Based in Temenggor, Bersia and Kenering, Perak, the candidate will assist the Project Engineer, monitor on-site activities, review drawings and method statements, and report non-conformities.

Qualifications

Diploma or relevant technical certification in Construction/Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in the construction industry, with EPCC project exposure.
Strong understanding of construction drawings, method statements, and quality standards.
Effective communication and reporting skills for coordinating with the Project Engineer and contractors.

Responsibilities

Monitor daily on-site work progress and ensure activities follow approved drawings and method statements.
Verify on-site work meets quality standards and complies with project specifications.
Ensure safety, environmental regulatory compliance on-site and promote a safe work environment.
Identify and report non-conformities to the Project Engineer and document findings for corrective action.
Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure understanding of specifications and compliance.
Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and identify risks or issues.
Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, non-conformities, and inspections.
