Job summary

HH Automation Sdn Bhd seeks an experienced ASRS Stacker Crane Maintenance Technician to join our After-Sales Service team in Penang. You will install, commission, maintain, and repair ASRS stacker cranes, and provide customer training to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or Electrical Engineering.

• Willingness to travel domestically and overseas as required.

We are seeking an experienced ASRS Stacker Crane Maintenance Technician to join our After-Sales Service team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) stacker cranes. You will also provide customer training and technical support to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our systems.

The position requires frequent domestic travel to customer sites to deliver timely and professional after-sales service, resolve technical issues, and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Travel Requirement

Qualifications & Requirements

Diploma, Vocational Certificate, or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, or maintenance of ASRS stacker cranes or similar automated material handling equipment (e.g., shuttle systems, conveyors, sortation systems, elevators, or automated warehouses).

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems used in industrial automation.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Experience using diagnostic tools and instruments such as multimeters and measuring equipment.

Strong troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills for mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.

Basic understanding of PLC-controlled equipment (Siemens PLC knowledge is an advantage).

Familiarity with servo drives, VFDs, sensors, encoders, and industrial communication systems is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience maintaining ASRS stacker cranes from internationally recognized brands is an advantage.

Possession of relevant certifications such as an Electrical Competency Certificate, Working at Heights, or other technical certifications.

Experience providing customer training and technical support.

Basic PLC programming and troubleshooting skills will be an added advantage.
