Job summary

PTT Synergy Group Berhad is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to plan, supervise, and optimize ASRS maintenance activities in Penang. The role requires leading a team of technicians and performing root cause analyses to prevent recurring issues.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years in a similar field, strong communication skills, and a customer-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on ASRS maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Willingness to work in Penang.
• Strong communication and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing daily Preventive and Corrective Maintenance activities.
• Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify underlying causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain maintenance schedules for ASRS equipment and building facilities, manage spare parts inventory, and keep maintenance records up to date.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and procedures.
• Lead the technician team to deliver all maintenance services per SLA, including timely incident escalation and reporting within 24 hours.
• Engage with customers on daily operations, including breakdowns and preventive/corrective maintenance while managing expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of daily Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance activities.

• Maintain maintenance schedules for ASRS equipment and building facilities, manage spare parts inventory, and ensure equipment maintenance records are kept up to date.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
• Lead the technician team in delivering all maintenance services in accordance with the customer's Service Level Agreement (SLA), including timely escalation of incidents, reporting to the monitoring centre within the stipulated timeframe, and submission of written incident reports within 24 hours.
• Communicate and engage closely with customers on daily operational matters, including equipment breakdowns and preventive and corrective maintenance activities, while effectively managing customer expectations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar field.
• Hands-on experience in ASRS equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, with the ability to diagnose and resolve a wide range of technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive and customer-focused attitude.
• Candidate must be willing to work in Penang.
• Training will be provided.
