Job summary

Advancecon Infra Sdn Bhd is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor for Bukit Raja, Klang. You will assist the site SHO in documenting and implementing OSH programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, EQA 1974, CIDB and other regulations, and advising on safety best practices.

You will conduct regular site inspections, monitor unsafe practices, collaborate with contractor safety supervisors, investigate incidents, and participate in HSE audits and KPI tracking.

Qualifications

• Candidate should possess a Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent.
• Must have Yellow Book.
• Certified CIDB Traffic Management Officer (TMO) is an added advantage.
• Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in the construction field is preferred for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assist the site SHO on documentation and implementation of OSH programs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, EQA 1974, CIDB and other related regulations.
• Advise employers on best practices and safety measures.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and rectify hazards.
• Monitor, inspect and correct unsafe practices at the project site.
• Collaborate with contractor safety supervisors to ensure subcontractor compliance.
• Investigate incidents and report near misses and illnesses.
• Participate in HSE committees and execute inspections and audits.
• Monitor KPIs related to safety and oversee workplace activities.

Job description

Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) - Bukit Raja, Klang

Assist the site SHO on various tasks in the documentation and implementation of company/department OSH programs.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, such as the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994, FMA 1967 (Bowec), EQA 1974, CIDB, and other related act, guideline & instruction.

Advise employers on best practices and measures for ensuring safety.

Conduct regular inspections of the workplace to identify and rectify any potential hazards

Monitor, inspect, and correct any unsafe practices or conditions at the project site.

Collaborate with contractor safety supervisors to ensure sub-contractors are adhering to safety regulations.

Ensure all subcontractors are compliant with OSHA, FMA, and other related regulations.

Investigate and report any incidents, accidents, near misses, dangerous occurrences, poisoning, or diseases that occur on the project site.

Participate in HSE committees and execute HSE inspections and audits.

Monitor and maintain KPIs related to safety

Oversee all the workplace activities to ensure they are up to date and meet the safety standard.

Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by management

Job requirements:
