Job summary

Lee Swee Construction & Trading Sdn Bhd is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to ensure workers receive OSH inductions, toolbox briefings, safety meetings, and training sessions. The role focuses on inspecting sites and promoting strong safety awareness among all personnel.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, with DOSH registration and NIOSH certification, plus at least one year in construction. Proficiency in Bahasa Melayu and English is required.

Qualifications

• At least Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent.
• A registered Site Safety Supervisor with the Occupational Safety & Health Dept. (DOSH) with valid Yellow Book & NIOSH certified.
• At least 1 year of working experience in Construction and familiar with OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Induct workers through safety induction, toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training sessions.
• Inspect the site and foster safety awareness among workers.
• Prepare and maintain relevant safety reports and checklists.
• Good teamwork and interpersonal communication are essential; perform tasks as assigned by Project/Site Manager or management.

Job description

To ensure the workers at the site are properly trained regarding our OSH Art, Client’s safety requirements and our safety requirement, by means of safety induction, toolbox briefing, safety meetings, training session.

To inspect work site & to cultivate safety awareness among workers

Ability to prepare relevant report and checklist.

Must have a strong teamwork, self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills;

Any others task assigned by the Project/Site Manager or Management.

Requirement:

At least Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or or equivalent.

A registered Site Safety Supervisor with the Occupational Safety & Health Dept. (DOSH) with valid Yellow Book & NIOSH certified.

At least 1 year of working experience in Construction and familiar with OSHA requirements and knowledgeable in safety practices.

Experience in Construction Industry.

Good in written and spoken in Bahasa Melayu and English.
