Job summary

Advancecon Infra Sdn Bhd is seeking a qualified Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) for Serenia City, Dengkil. The role supports the site SHO in OSH program documentation and implementation, ensuring compliance with OSHA 1994, FMA 1967 (Bowec), EQA 1974, CIDB, and related regulations.

You will advise on best practices, conduct inspections, monitor safety practices, and coordinate with subcontractors. Qualified candidates have a Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, Yellow Book, and CIDB TMO

Qualifications

• Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent.
• Yellow Book is required or preferred.
• Certified CIDB TMO is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the site SHO on documentation and OSH program implementation.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, CIDB and related regulations.
• Advise employers on safety best practices.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards.
• Monitor, inspect and correct unsafe practices at the site.
• Collaborate with contractor safety supervisors to ensure sub-contractors comply.
• Investigate incidents and report near misses.
• Participate in HSE committees and inspections.
• Monitor KPIs related to safety.
• Oversee workplace activities to meet safety standards.
• Undertake other duties as required by management.

Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) - Serenia City, Dengkil

Assist the site SHO on various tasks in the documentation and implementation of company/department OSH programs.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, such as the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994, FMA 1967 (Bowec), EQA 1974, CIDB, and other related act, guideline & instruction.

Advise employers on best practices and measures for ensuring safety.

Conduct regular inspections of the workplace to identify and rectify any potential hazards.

Monitor, inspect, and correct any unsafe practices or conditions at the project site.

Collaborate with contractor safety supervisors to ensure sub-contractors are adhering to safety regulations.

Ensure all subcontractors are compliant with OSHA, FMA, and other related regulations.

Investigate and report any incidents, accidents, near misses, dangerous occurrences, poisoning, or diseases that occur on the project site.

Participate in HSE committees and execute HSE inspections and audits.

Monitor and maintain KPIs related to safety.

Oversee all the workplace activities to ensure they are up to date and meet the safety standard.

Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by management.

Job requirements:

Candidate should possess a Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent.

Must have Yellow Book

Certified CIDB Traffic Management Officer (TMO) is an added advantage.

Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in the construction field is preferred for this position.

Applicants must be willing to work in Serenia City, Dengkil.

Applicants must be willing to work every Saturday (8AM - 1PM)
