TRIP GUARD SDN BHD is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to lead day-to-day safety on HV electrical installation sites. You will run safety programmes, conduct toolbox talks, inspections and inductions, and manage PTW, LOTO and lifting controls for high‑risk activities.

You will review risk assessments and method statements, ensure compliance of plant, gear and PPE, and liaise with the main contractor’s HSE team. Strong knowledge of OSHA/FMA and CIDB is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Valid Site Safety Supervisor certificate and DOSH registration.
• 3+ years as SSS on construction or industrial projects.
• Experience with substations, power plants or data centres preferred.

You will lead day-to-day safety on site for HV electrical installation works. This covers heavy lifting, work at height (WAH) and energised-system interfaces.

Responsibilities

Run the site safety programme, including toolbox talks, inspections and safety induction

Manage Permit-to-Work, LOTO, lifting permits and work-at-height controls

Review and brief method statements and risk assessments (HIRARC/JSA) for each activity

Check plant, lifting gear and PPE compliance

Investigate and report incidents and near misses, and track corrective actions

Coordinate with the main contractor’s HSE team and attend safety meetings

Keep safety records and statutory documents up to date

Requirements

Valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) certificate, registered with DOSH

3+ years as SSS on construction or industrial projects

Experience on substations, power plants or data centres is preferred

Good knowledge of OSHA 1994 (as amended), FMA and lifting regulations

Valid CIDB Green Card
