Job summary

True Eco Sdn. Bhd is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to oversee day-to-day construction site safety and ensure regulatory compliance while safeguarding workers. You will lead safety initiatives, enforce PPE, and coordinate with management to maintain a culture of safety.

The role includes investigating incidents, addressing worker concerns, supervising subcontractors, maintaining equipment, and tracking staff competencies such as OGSP, CIDB, Crane Operator, and Chargeman to prevent accidents.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Safety and Health or related field.
• Valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) competency/license.
• Experience in construction site safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Safety Oversight: Supervise day-to-day activities on site, ensure safety regulations are followed.
• Protective Equipment: Ensure workers wear PPE such as helmets, boots, and harnesses where required.
• Accident Investigation: Investigate accidents and identify root causes to prevent recurrences.
• Addressing Safety Concerns: Respond promptly to workers' safety concerns and reports.
• Communication: Act as a link between workers and top management on safety matters.
• Accident Prevention: Implement measures to minimize accidents and improve conditions.
• Unsafe Conditions and Practices: Regularly inspect site and rectify unsafe conditions.
• Sub-Contractors Compliance: Check subcontractors' work for safety compliance.
• Safety Equipment Maintenance: Ensure safety gear is maintained and functional.
• Staff Competency Tracking: Track qualifications like OGSP, CIDB, Crane Operator, Chargeman.
• Enforcement of PPE: Enforce PPE usage at the worksite.
• Toolbox Meetings: Conduct toolbox talks to promote a safety culture.

Enforcement of PPE : Enforce the implementation of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at the worksite to enhance worker safety.

Toolbox Meetings : Conduct regular toolbox meetings to disseminate safety information and promote a culture of safety among workers.

Key Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Degree/ Diploma in Safety and Health or related qualification.

Possess a valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) Competency License registered with DOSH / JKKP (Yellow book).
