MABUCO SDN. BHD. is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to oversee daily construction safety, enforce DOSH/JKKP requirements, and promote safe practices on site.

You will conduct toolbox talks, inspections, and incident investigations, and coordinate with project teams and subcontractors to ensure PPE compliance and safe operations.

Based at construction sites in Malaysia, the role requires strong communication and independent action to address safety concerns promptly.

Qualifikationen

• Possess a valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) registration/certificate recognised by DOSH/JKKP.
• 2–3 years of relevant construction site safety experience preferred.
• Experience in high-rise, commercial, industrial projects advantageous.
• Good knowledge of construction safety practices and applicable safety requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Aufgaben

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities to ensure compliance with site safety requirements and regulations.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts, conditions and hazards.
• Ensure workers and subcontractors comply with safety procedures and PPE usage.
• Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings and site inductions as required.
• Monitor high-risk activities (working at height, lifting, scaffolding, excavation).
• Prepare and maintain safety inspection reports, checklists and records.
• Assist in investigating accidents, incidents and near misses and follow up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Site Manager, SHO and subcontractors on safety matters.
• Monitor housekeeping, emergency access, signage and barricades on site.
• Promote safety awareness and a positive safety culture among workers.

• Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings and site safety inductions where required
• Monitor high-risk construction activities including working at height, lifting operations, scaffolding, excavation and other site activities
• Prepare and maintain safety inspection reports, checklists, records and other relevant safety documentation
• Assist in investigating accidents, incidents and near misses and follow up on corrective actions
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Manager, SHO, subcontractors and relevant parties on safety-related matters
• Monitor housekeeping, emergency access, safety signage, barricades and other site safety arrangements

About you

• Possess a valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) registration/certificate recognised by DOSH/JKKP
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant construction site safety experience preferred
• Experience in high-rise, commercial, industrial, warehouse/factory or infrastructure projects will be an advantage
• Good knowledge of construction safety practices and applicable safety requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with site teams and subcontractors
• Able to work independently, conduct site inspections and take immediate action on safety concerns
• Willing to be based at construction sites and work according to project requirements
