Job summary

Ecobuilt Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to oversee on-site safety, health and environmental compliance across construction activities in Selangor.

You will implement policies, conduct daily inspections, coordinate safety trainings, liaise with subcontractors and authorities, and maintain records to prevent incidents. Must have a relevant degree/diploma and 3+ years in construction site safety, plus SSS registration.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of site safety supervision in construction.
• Solid knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations for construction sites.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Registered Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) with JKKP/Department.

Responsibilities

Job description

Ensure all quality, safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures are effectively implemented on-site

Conduct daily safety inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Conduct and coordinate safety training sessions, including emergency response plans and safe work practices, for workers and contractors

Perform regular site inspections, identify potential hazards, and recommend corrective actions to prevent accidents

Liaise with sub-contractors, government officials and relevant parties to identify and solve safety and health issues

Maintaining comprehensive record of safety inspections, incident reports, training logs, and other safety documentation

Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations

Job Requirements

Possess a Degree/Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, or a related field

Minimum 3 years of experience in site safety supervision in the construction industry

Possess a thorough understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations applicable to construction sites

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to quickly address safety concerns

Strong leadership and organizational skills

Registered competent Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) with the Occupational Safety & Health Department
