CRBC KUCHING ART BLUELINE 2 is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to assist the SHO and project team in implementing effective safety management on construction sites in Sarawak. You will conduct regular inspections, identify unsafe conditions, and take corrective actions to ensure compliance with OSH laws and regulations.
You will monitor subcontractors, liaise with safety supervisors, and maintain thorough safety documentation while promoting a safe working environment for all workers.
Assist the Safety & Health Officer (SHO) and project team in implementing effective site safety management at construction sites.
Conduct regular site inspections and identify unsafe conditions at the construction site
Take appropriate action to rectify unsafe conditions and practices
Monitor and ensure all construction activities comply with relevant Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) laws, regulations, and requirements
Monitor subcontractors' work to ensure safety requirements and regulations are properly complied with
Liaise with contractors' and subcontractors' safety supervisors regarding site safety matters
Report safety issues, follow up on corrective actions, and maintain proper safety documentation
Assist in promoting a safe working environment and ensuring workers follow site safety procedures
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Site Safety Supervisor in the construction industry
Must hold a valid DOSH/JKKP Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) Competency Certificate
Good knowledge of construction site safety practices and applicable safety regulations
Able to conduct site inspections and identify unsafe acts/conditions
Good communication and coordination skills
Able to work independently and liaise effectively with contractors, subcontractors, and project personnel
