Job summary

Acre Works Sdn Bhd is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor in Malaysia to oversee safety compliance on construction sites. You will conduct inspections, lead risk assessments, deliver safety briefings and manage incident investigations to drive a safer work environment.

Your role includes monitoring high-risk activities, conducting inductions and coordinating emergency drills, while maintaining records and ensuring adherence to OSHA/CIDB standards across projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction safety.
• Knowledge of OSHA 1994, CIDB requirements and construction safety practices.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work with site teams, contractors and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily site activities and ensure compliance with safety policies, statutory requirements and project procedures.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments; identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Monitor high-risk activities including lifting, scaffolding, excavation, confined spaces and working at height.
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, training and awareness programmes for workers and subcontractors.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near-misses, identify root causes and follow up on corrective actions.
• Manage emergency preparedness, drills and readiness of first aid and emergency response equipment.
• Maintain safety records, permits, inspection reports, training records and statutory documentation.
• Monitor occupational health, environmental and hazardous material management requirements.
• Track safety performance, KPIs and audit findings, and recommend improvements to enhance site safety.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement across the project.

Job description
