Job summary

Suhati Group in Malaysia is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to supervise daily site activities and enforce safety policies. You will conduct inspections, toolbox talks, and inductions, investigate incidents, maintain records, and coordinate with engineers and contractors to ensure DOSH compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a DOSH/JKKP Yellow Book, a Diploma/Certificate in OSH, and at least 3 years of construction safety experience.

Qualifications

• Must have Diploma/Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health or related field.
• DOSH/JKKP registered Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) with Yellow Book.
• Minimum 3 years of construction/site safety experience.
• Good knowledge of occupational safety regulations.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to supervise workers and work independently.

Job description

Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety and health requirements. Ensure all workers follow company safety policies, procedures, and site safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential hazards and unsafe practices

Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and site inductions

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare the necessary reports

Maintain proper safety documentation, records, and inspection reports

Coordinate with the Site Engineer, Project Manager, contractors, and workers on safety matters

Ensure compliance with relevant DOSH/JKKP requirements and applicable safety regulations

Take immediate action to address unsafe conditions or practices

Perform other safety-related duties as assigned by management

About you

Minimum Diploma/Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health or a related field

Must be a DOSH/JKKP registered Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) with a valid Yellow Book

Minimum 3 years of relevant construction/site safety experience

Good knowledge of occupational safety and health requirements

Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills

Able to work independently and supervise workers effectively

Willing to work at the project site and according to project requirements

Possess a valid driving license is an advantage
