Lim Seong Hai Capital Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to lead day-to-day safety activities on construction sites and ensure compliance with DOSH and project safety requirements.

You will conduct inductions, toolbox talks, and safety programmes, monitor PPE use, and assist in incident investigations while maintaining records and coordinating with the safety team and subcontractors.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day site safety activities in line with company policies and legal requirements.

• Deliver site safety inductions, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programmes.
• Monitor PPE usage by site personnel and enforce standards.
• Assist investigations of accidents, incidents and near-misses with corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records, permits and statutory documentation.
• Coordinate with Safety & Health Officer, PM, consultants and subcontractors on safety matters.
• Oversee high-risk activities such as lifting, scaffolding, excavation and confined spaces.
• Promote a positive safety culture through ongoing education and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor day-to-day site safety activities in accordance with Company policies and statutory requirements.

Conduct routine site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.

Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health regulations, Company safety procedures, and project safety requirements.

Conduct site safety induction, toolbox meetings, and safety awareness programmes.

Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all site personnel.

Assist in accident, incident, and near-miss investigations, including implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Maintain safety records, inspection reports, permits, and statutory documentation.

Coordinate with the Safety & Health Officer, Project Manager, consultants, and subcontractors on safety-related matters.

Monitor high-risk construction activities including lifting operations, scaffolding, excavation, and confined space works.

Promote a positive safety culture through continuous education and engagement.

Requirements

Minimum SPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Safety Supervisor in building construction projects.

Possess a valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) Certificate recognised by DOSH/CIDB or the relevant authority.

Experience in high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed development projects is highly preferred.

Good knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Act 2022, CIDB requirements, and construction safety practices.

Good communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Able to work independently and enforce safety requirements effectively.
