Job summary

NCL ENERGY SDN BHD is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to monitor and supervise daily site activities, ensuring strict OSH compliance and adherence to company safety policies. You will conduct toolbox talks, inductions, and safety awareness sessions for site personnel, while monitoring PPE usage and safety practices across the project.

The role requires a valid SSS registration, knowledge of OSHA 1994, and the ability to work long hours on fast-track timelines at Serendah or Lukut project sites.

Job description

Monitor and supervise daily site activities to ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) requirements and company safety policies.

Conduct regular site safety inspections to identify potential hazards, unsafe practices and unsafe working conditions.

Ensure all workers, subcontractors and visitors comply with site safety rules and regulations.

Conduct toolbox briefings, safety inductions and safety awareness programmes for site personnel.

Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) among workers at the construction site.

Identify workplace hazards and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

Prepare, maintain and update safety documentation, inspection reports, checklists and other relevant records.

Assist in the investigation and reporting of accidents, incidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences.

Monitor subcontractors' safety performance and ensure compliance with approved safety procedures and requirements.

Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Supervisor, Safety Officer and relevant personnel on site safety matters.

Ensure proper housekeeping, site cleanliness and safe access and working conditions.

Monitor high-risk activities and ensure appropriate safety control measures are implemented.

Follow up on safety inspection findings and ensure corrective actions are completed within the required timeframe.

Carry out any other safety-related duties or ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior or management.

Additional Requirements (if applicable):

Possess a valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) registration with DOSH/JKKP.

Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSHA) and relevant construction safety regulations.

Able to work long hours and adapt to fast-track project timelines.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and reporting tools.

Willing and able to work at project sites in Serendah or Lukut, Port Dickson.
