PCH INFRAWORKS SDN BHD, based in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, is seeking a dedicated Site Safety Supervisor for a full‑time role on our construction sites. You will uphold health, safety and environmental standards and ensure regulatory compliance across projects.

Responsibilities include conducting inspections, delivering safety training, investigating incidents, maintaining records, and coordinating with managers to embed safety into daily operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Safety Supervisor in construction.
• In-depth knowledge of Malaysian OSHA 1994 regulations.
• Valid Safety and Health Officer (SHO) certification.
• Ability to lead safety initiatives and drive improvements.
• Strong communication and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and non‑compliance.
• Develop, implement and monitor safety policies and procedures for projects.
• Provide safety induction and training to site personnel, contractors and subcontractors.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near‑misses and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain comprehensive safety documentation and reports per regulatory requirements.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings to reinforce safe practices.
• Coordinate with project managers to integrate safety into daily operations.
• Monitor PPE usage and other safety measures on site.
• Liaise with authorities and safety consultants as required.
• Maintain clear site safety signage and safe access routes.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Safety Supervisor to join PCH INFRAWORKS SDN BHD. This is a full-time position based in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety and environmental compliance across our construction projects. As Site Safety Supervisor, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining rigorous safety standards, protecting our workforce, and ensuring all operations comply with relevant regulations and industry best practices. This role is integral to our commitment to creating a safe working environment for all employees and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards and areas of non-compliance
• Develop, implement and monitor safety policies, procedures and protocols tailored to project-specific requirements
• Provide safety induction and training programmes to all site personnel, including contractors and subcontractors
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near-misses, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions
• Maintain comprehensive safety documentation, records and reports in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings to reinforce safe working practices and raise awareness
• Coordinate with project managers and supervisors to ensure safety requirements are integrated into daily operations
• Monitor and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety measures
• Liaise with relevant authorities and external safety consultants as required
• Maintain site safety signage and ensure safe access routes are clearly marked and maintained

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Site Safety Supervisor or similar health and safety role within the construction industry
• In‑depth knowledge of Malaysian construction safety regulations, including the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994
• Valid Safety and Health Officer (SHO) certification or equivalent professional qualification
• Strong understanding of construction site hazards and risk management principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with personnel at all levels
• Proficiency in safety documentation, incident reporting and data analysis
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to hazard identification
• Physical capability to conduct regular site inspections and walk‑rounds
• Previous experience in leading safety initiatives and delivering training programmes is highly desirable
