Idealbuild Engineering Sdn Bhd is hiring a Site Safety Supervisor to implement OHS requirements on site and ensure PPE compliance across projects. The role requires 2+ years of construction safety experience, a valid Yellow Book certification, and willingness to travel to project sites.

You will inspect equipment, run safety inductions, and report hazards to supervisors. Join a CIDB G7 contractor with expanding operations across Malaysia.

Qualificações

• Diploma/Degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, or related disciplines.
• At least 2 years of working experience as a Safety in Construction Industries.
• Yellow Book certification issued by the relevant authority.
• Possess own transportation and willing to travel to project sites as required.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the implementation of Occupational Health & Safety requirements at site.
• Adhere to safety and health rules and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Ensure all workers wear PPE.
• Ensure workers CIDB or other necessary documents are valid to work at site.
• Conduct inspections/audits for potential safety hazards and areas of improvement.
• Assist to conduct safety inductions/trainings to employees and workers.
• Inspect equipment and machinery for unsafe conditions.
• Determine cause of accidents and recommend preventive measures.
• Raise health and safety issues to Supervisors and Project Manager.
• Undertake other duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of Occupational Health & Safety requirements at site;
• Adhere to the safety and health’s rules and procedures, as well as relevant policies and work instructions to ensure compliance to the environmental requirements;
• Ensure all workers are wearing PPE (personal protective equipment);
• Ensure workers CIDB or any other necessary documents are always valid to work at site;
• Conduct inspections/audits for potential safety hazards and area of improvement, as well as safety inspection to assess employee compliance with safety regulations;
• Assist to conduct safety inductions/trainings to employees and workers;
• Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions;
• Determine the cause of any accident or dangerous occurrence and recommend means of preventing recurrence;
• Raise health and safety issues to Supervisors and Project Manager where appropriate;
• Undertake other duties that may arise due to contingencies of work from time to time.

Requirements

• Possess a Diploma/Degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, or related disciplines.
• At least 2 years of working experience as a Safety in Construction Industries.
