APG Geotechnics Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a hands-on engineering professional for site and project management in Sarawak/Sabah. The role requires leading project teams, coordinating resources and ensuring safe, on-time delivery of substructure and building works.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering, with at least 8 years of relevant experience, including large-scale buildings. Strong leadership, communication, and drawing interpretation skills are essential.

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in substructure and building construction, preferably with buildings 8 storeys or above.
• Experience managing hospital projects is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Able to read, coordinate & interpret construction drawings for all trades.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate, plan, coordinate and manage project teams.

Responsabilidades

• In charge of site operation, ensure project progress is on track and report progress to Management.
• Direct daily work sequences, plan and manage project resources (manpower, machinery, plant, equipment, materials).
• Lead, manage, and coordinate the project team to achieve project objectives.
• Coordinate and monitor subcontractors’ work and site activities.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, local authorities and stakeholders on technical, construction and site matters.
• Oversee project execution and monitor overall progress and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and health requirements at the project site.
• Identify and resolve project issues to ensure smooth and timely execution.

A hands-on and results-oriented engineering professional with strong project or site management and site experience, capable of leading teams and delivering construction projects safely, efficiently, and to the required standards.

Job Responsibilities

In charge of site operation by ensuring project progress are on track and timely reporting progress status to Management.

Direct daily work sequences, plan and manage project resources, including manpower, machinery, plant, equipment, and materials.

Lead, manage, and coordinate the project team to achieve project objectives.

Coordinate and monitor subcontractors’ work and site activities.

Liaise with clients, consultants, local authorities, and other stakeholders on technical, construction, and site matters.

Oversee project execution and monitor overall project progress and financial performance.

Ensure compliance withquality, safety, and health requirementsat the project site.

Identify and resolve project issues to ensure smooth and timely project execution.

Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

Diploma inCivil Engineering, Building Constructionor an equivalent qualification.

Minimum8 years of relevant experiencein substructure and building construction, preferably involving buildings of8 storeys or above, experience in managing hospital project will be an added advantage.

Proficient inMicrosoft Office.

Able to read, coordinate & interpret construction drawings for all trade.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, plan, coordinate, and manage project teams.

Good organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Highly disciplined with a strong work ethic and sense of responsibility.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Willing to bepermanently based in Sarawak or Sabah.

Willing to travel outstation as required by project needs.
