Job summary

APG Geotechnics Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor based in Selangor/KL and Sabah with field experience in construction.

The role involves planning maintenance schedules, coordinating mechanic teams, and supervising repairs at sites across west and east Malaysia. A proactive, independent, and team-oriented candidate is preferred. The position requires willingness to travel and be stationed at outstations as needed, with responsibilities spanning record-keeping, parts recommendations,

Responsibilities

• Maintain maintenance records for all machinery after servicing.
• Plan maintenance service schedule for each major machinery and coordinate mechanic teams.
• Attend ad-hoc or scheduled repairs and troubleshoot at site with the mechanic team.
• Check machinery condition and status of repair (e.g., crawler crane, drilling/heavy equipment, vibro hammer, electrical equipment, generator, etc.).
• Recommend parts purchases when required and track performance after repair; ensure repair status is recorded.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Job description

· To ensure the maintenance record of all machinery are duly recorded after each servicing.

· To plan the maintenance service schedule of each major machinery, as well as arranging the mechanic team’s work accordingly.

· To attend to any ad-hoc or scheduled repairing, troubleshoot, service and etc. at site with the mechanic team when needed.

· Responsible for checking of the machinery’s condition and status of repair, e.g. crawler crane, hydraulic boring/drilling machine, hydraulic/electrical vibro hammer, electrical equipment, compressor, generator set, etc.

· To recommend purchase of parts when required, tracking the machinery’s performance after repair and ensuring the status of repair are properly recorded.

· Perform any other tasks assigned from time to time.

Requirements :

· Experience working in construction field.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

· To be based in Selangor/KL and Sabah, preferably local candidates (from Peninsular and Sabah).

· Willing to travel & be stationed at outstation (west & east Malaysia) when required.
