Job summary

ANEKA JARINGAN SDN. BHD. is seeking a Junior Civil Engineer to assist the Project Manager/Construction Manager in planning, monitoring and controlling daily works at project sites in Kuala Lumpur.

The role emphasizes adherence to quality management system policies and procedures and effective document control. The successful candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, demonstrate strong management, leadership, communication and coordination skills, and be willing to travel

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Excellent management & organization skills, good leadership, communication and coordination.
• Willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager/Construction Manager to plan, monitor and control daily works at project sites.
• Implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the quality management system.
• Ensure that project operations and document control procedures are adhered to.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor subcontractor’s activities at project sites.
• Maintain good housekeeping and implement safety practices.
• Ensure that works carried out are in accordance with drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures and work instructions.
• Submit sample materials and calibration certificates to relevant consultants for approval.
• Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the superior.

Job description

To assist Project Manager/ Construction Manager to plan, monitor and control daily works at the project sites

To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the quality management system

To ensure that project operations and document control procedures are adhered to

To plan, coordinate and monitor subcontractor’s activities at project sites

To maintain good house-keeping and implement safety practices

To ensure that all works carried out are in accordance to the drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures, work instructions and etc

To ensure that inspection and tests are carried out as per Inspection and Test Plans and that all quality control mechanisms are being used. Results of such to conform to specifications.

To submit sample materials and calibrations certificates to relevant consultants for approval

To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

Possess excellent management & organization skills, good leadership. good communication and coordination skills

Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.

Ability to communicate with technicians, site personnel, consultant, and clients.

Willing to travel locally.
