Job summary

Sbn Fire Engineering Sbn Bhd is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to prepare working drawings and supervise fire protection projects on site in Malaysia. You will attend project meetings, coordinate with M&E services, and manage subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and safety regulations.

The role requires a Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering. Fresh graduates are welcome and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.
• Knowledge of Auto CAD and Microsoft office is preferred.
• Candidates with experience in Fire Protection, Building Services or M&E projects will have an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare working drawings for ongoing projects.
• Attend project meetings and site supervision when required.
• Monitor project site for Fire Protection System work and coordinate material orders, delivery, stock and cost control.
• Manage sub-contractors and workers to ensure compliance with specifications, codes and installation methods.
• Coordinate with other M&E services to ensure smooth installation progress.
• Submit shop drawings, materials and method statements for client/consultant approval.
• Prepare reports and progress claims for clients.
• Assist inspections, testing and commissioning activities and ensure documentation is complete.
• Prepare handover documentation, as-built drawings, O&M manuals and handover acceptance.

Job description

To prepare working drawing for all on going projects.

To attend projects meeting and site supervision when required.

To reporting to Senior Project Manager and monitor project site for Fire Protection System work which includes site planning and coordination, material order & delivery and also stock and cost control.

To manage sub-contractors and workers during project construction for compliance with specifications, local codes, HSE regulations and method of installation.

To coordinate with all other M&E services to ensure smooth installation progress.

To manage submission of shop drawings, materials and method statement to client and consultant for approval.

To prepare reports and submit progress claims to client.

To perform any other project-related tasks assigned by management.

Support inspections, testing and commissioning activities. Ensure all test reports and documentation are complete and properly recorded.

Prepare handover documentation, as-built drawings, O&M manuals and support system handover and acceptance.

Requirements

Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or a related discipline.
