Job summary

Perunding ALC Sdn Bhd is seeking a Fresh Graduate Project Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical) in Puchong, Selangor. You will assist senior engineers with design coordination, project documentation, site supervision, and technical support for building services projects.

The role offers training, hands-on exposure to M&E systems, and opportunities to progress toward professional certification. Willingness to travel to project sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or other engineering design software is preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing M&E designs, drawings, calculations, and specifications for building services systems (HVAC, electrical, lighting, fire protection, plumbing, ELV).
• Support senior engineers in design reviews and technical evaluations.
• Assist in preparing tender drawings, technical specifications, and tender documents.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and clients on project requirements.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and codes.
• Attend site meetings and monitor site progress and installation quality.
• Conduct site inspections to verify M&E installations meet drawings and specs.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and project handover documentation.
• Participate in internal technical training and mentorship programs.

Job Title: Project Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical) – Fresh Graduate

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fresh Graduate Project Engineer to join our Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) consulting team. The successful candidate will assist senior engineers in the design coordination, project documentation, site supervision, and technical support for building services engineering projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in M&E systems design, project coordination, and construction supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of M&E engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and specifications for building services systems such as HVAC, electrical power, lighting, fire protection, plumbing, and ELV systems.

Support senior engineers in design reviews and technical evaluations.

Assist in preparing tender drawings, technical specifications, and tender documents.

2. Project Coordination

Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and clients on project requirements.

Assist in reviewing shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions.

Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and codes.

3. Site Supervision

Attend site meetings and assist in monitoring site progress and installation quality.

Conduct site inspections to verify M&E installations comply with design drawings and specifications.

Assist in resolving technical issues during construction.

4. Documentation & Reporting

Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and meeting minutes.

Maintain proper project documentation and records.

Assist in testing, commissioning, and project handover documentation.

Participate in internal technical training and mentorship programs.

Continuously develop knowledge in building services engineering and industry standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering.
