Job summary

Asiamost Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of AME Elite Consortium Berhad, is seeking a Project Engineer to lead M&E installation supervision for commercial and industrial buildings. You will coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires a diploma/degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, strong communication in BM and English, site experience, and proficiency in MS Office. Travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Good communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• At least 1 year of related field experience.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience working at site and ability to work under pressure.
• Willing to travel to project sites.
• Represent Site Manager at progress meetings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise M&E installation works.
• Troubleshoot site problems and propose solutions.
• Plan, monitor, and control procurement and progress.
• Prepare progress reports, drawings, and documents.
• Verify quantities for M&E installation (tender, shop, as-built).
• Ensure sufficiency and quality of workforce.
• Monitor progress to meet schedule and client requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities and others.
• Maintain M&E drawing list/details for construction.
• Coordinate with subcontractors' workforce.
• Assist other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate & supervise all M&E Installation works.
• Troubleshoot, tackle & propose solution to solve site problems.
• Plan, monitor & control procurement, materials deliver & progress of work.
• Prepare & submit Progress Reports & other relevant sketches / drawings / documents.
• Verify/quantities M&E installation Services (Tender/Shop/As-built Drawing).
• Ensure sufficiency, efficiency & quality of workforce.
• Monitor progress of work to comply with Work Schedule & client’s requirement.
• Verify M&E design, sub-contractors’ claim & variation orders.
• Liaise with client, consultants, local authorities & other relevant parties.
• Maintain & update on M&E drawing list/details for construction.
• Co-ordinate & supervise own/sub-contractors’ workforce.
• Multi-tasking by assisting other as per management’s request. (eg. : drawings, procurement, reports & etc.)
• Any other duties ås assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

Requirement :

• Diploma/ Degree in mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• Good communication skill in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• At least 1 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Required skill : MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
• Experience working at site
• Able work on the pressure environment
• Willing to travel to project sites.
• Represent Site Manager for attending works progress meeting.
