Job summary

MINDTECK SOFTWARE MALAYSIA SDN BHD is looking for a Site Engineer to assist the Project Manager in coordinating and monitoring construction activities on-site. You will supervise site activities, track progress, coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities include site inspections, progress reporting, BIM 360/ACC record maintenance, and supporting handover and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience in site engineering, construction, or project coordination.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and site processes.
• Experience coordinating contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Familiarity with BIM 360 / ACC is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of quality and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a site environment.

• Monitor daily site progress, manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve technical, site, quality, and schedule issues.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, testing, defect rectification, and corrective actions.
• Attend site meetings and follow up on outstanding actions.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Update and manage BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) records, inspections, checklists, and issues.
• Support workplace safety requirements, inspections, and toolbox activities.
• Assist with project handover, close-out, and continuous improvement initiatives.
