Job summary

TMK Construction & Transport Sdn. Bhd. on-site professional role to assist the Project Engineer and Construction Manager in planning, coordinating, supervising and executing daily construction activities on site.

You will ensure works follow drawings, specs, method statements, monitor progress, inspect materials, manage manpower and report progress to the Project Engineer. A Diploma in Civil/Structural Eng and 3+ years on-site civil experience are required, with willingness to travel to project

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• At least 3 years on-site civil construction experience is preferred.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Engineer and Construction Manager in planning, coordinating, supervising and executing daily construction activities on site.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements
• Monitor site progress and report daily work status, delays, and technical issues to the Project Engineer
• Assist in material inspections, quantity verification, and site measurements
• Supervise the utilisation of manpower, materials, machinery, and equipment, and minimise wastage
• Identify construction and technical issues, and assist in resolving site coordination problems
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company SOPs, and HSE requirements
• Attend toolbox meetings, site inspections, and project coordination meetings
• Prepare daily site reports, inspection requests, site records, and other project documentation
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure quality control and adherence to engineering specifications

About you

Minimum Diploma holder and above in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent

At least 3 years and above on-site working experience in civil work is an added advantage

Hardworking and able to work under tight schedule to meet deadline

Positive working attitude, possess effective skills and knowledge in managing construction activities

Willing to travel to project sites as required
