Job summary

Haily Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable Civil Engineering professional to join our site team in the Southern Johor region. You will support daily reporting, site monitoring, material management and coordination with subcontractors to ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence.

Applicants should hold a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, have at least 2 years of building construction experience (residential preferred), and possess strong MS Office skills along with solid written

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience on building construction projects; residential experience is a plus.
• Fresh graduates may apply.
• Proficiency in MS Office and document formatting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports: daily/weekly/monthly on site activities, progress and planning.
• Conduct daily site monitoring for safety, progress and quality.
• Oversee materials reception, ordering, storage and inventory control.
• Manage RFIs, inspection forms/apps to ensure compliance with specs and regs.
• Supervise casting/architectural work; ensure safety and quality standards.
• Record tile QC data to ensure size, color and specs consistency.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, NSC and client infra for project alignment.
• Monitor progress against project schedules.
• Arrange and sign for Kong cards and machinery as required.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by superiors.

We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team at Haily Construction Sdn Bhd, a G7 CIDB-registered main contractor primarily involved in the construction of residential buildings.

Working Location: Southern Johor area(s) — Johor Bahru, etc.

Job descriptions

• Prepare daily / weekly / monthly reports detailing site activities, progress, projection, project planning and other relevant information.
• Conduct daily site monitoring to oversee progress, adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
• Manage the reception, ordering, and storage of materials, ensuring proper inventory control and efficient utilization.
• Facilitate the completion of inspection forms / inspection apps and manage RFI to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Provide supervision during casting / architectural processes, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Records tile QC processes to ensure consistency in size, color tone, and other specifications.
• Coordinate with subcon, NSC and client infra to optimize project efficiency and ensure alignment with project specifications.
• Monitor the progress of site activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules.
• Arranges KSK and records / signs for Kong cards @ Arranges and signs for machinery.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by superiors.

Job Requirements

• Candidates must possess at least a Diploma, Degree, Professional Degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in building construction projects. Experienced in residential projects is an added advantage. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
• Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office.
• Great written and verbal communication skills.
• Candidates must be self-motivated, with strong integrity and commitment to their responsibilities.
