Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site construction activities and supervise site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress, quality, safety, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors, suppliers, and relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare and review site reports, work schedules, method statements, and technical documentation.
• Handle submissions, approvals, inspections, and liaison with relevant authorities.
• Track authority approval timelines and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate authority inspections and facilitate issuance of permits, licenses, and certificates.
• Resolve technical, construction, and authority-related issues to prevent project delays.
• Monitor project costs, variation works, and site resource utilization.

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer Manager to oversee site operations, coordinate construction activities, and manage all authority-related submissions and approvals. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical construction knowledge, project coordination skills, and hands‑on experience dealing with local authorities and utility providers to ensure smooth project execution and compliance.

Key responsibilities

Manage day‑to‑day site construction activities and supervise site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.

Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

Coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors, suppliers, and relevant stakeholders.

Prepare and review site reports, work schedules, method statements, and technical documentation.

Handle submissions, approvals, inspections, and liaison with relevant authorities, including Local Authorities (PBT), CIDB, BOMBA, TNB, Air Selangor / Water Authorities, IWK, JKR, DOSH, utility providers and other statutory bodies.

Track authority approval timelines and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Coordinate authority inspections and facilitate issuance of permits, licenses, and certificates.

Resolve technical, construction, and authority-related issues to prevent project delays.

Monitor project costs, variation works, and site resource utilization.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company quality standards.

About you

Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project execution and site management.

Proven experience handling authority submissions and approvals for industrial, commercial, or residential projects.

Strong knowledge of Malaysian construction regulations, building by‑laws, and approval processes.

Familiarity with CIDB requirements and local authority procedures.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.

Good leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project management software.

Possess own transport and willing to travel between project sites.
