Job summary

LYH ADVANCE BUILDER (M) SDN BHD is seeking a Site Engineer to supervise and monitor daily construction activities on-site, ensuring works align with drawings, specs, and method statements. You will prepare method statements and technical documents, coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers, and monitor progress and quality while producing site reports.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Project, and strong teamwork and

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project (added advantage).
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work on construction site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at site.
• Ensure construction works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Prepare Method Statements, Work Procedures and related technical documents.
• Follow up on material submissions, approvals and delivery.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site workers.
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, construction drawings and as-built drawings.
• Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed according to the project schedule.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate rectification of defective or non-compliant works.
• Assist in resolving technical issues and site-related problems.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress reports and site records.
• Attend site meetings and follow up on technical matters and outstanding issues.
• Coordinate site activities to ensure proper sequencing of works.
• Monitor the quality of construction works and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and monitoring project activities.
• Ensure proper documentation and records are maintained throughout the project.

Site Engineer responsible for supervising and monitoring daily construction activities on-site, ensuring works comply with approved drawings, specifications and method statements; preparing method statements and technical documents; coordinating with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers; monitoring project progress and quality; and preparing site reports and records.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
