Sato Kogyo (M) Sdn Bhd is the Malaysian business of Sato Kogyo, a Japanese construction company established in 1862. As a Site Engineer, you will support building projects from design coordination through construction, helping deliver quality work that meets client, authority, and project requirements.

Design coordination: Support project planning and engineering activities, review design drawings, identify discrepancies, and coordinate revisions with the Project Manager, consultants, and Draftsman.
Constructability assessment: Evaluate designs and propose practical construction methodologies that meet client and authority requirements.
Technical documentation: Prepare method statements, engineering reports, technical documents, presentation materials, and other project documentation.
Site execution and quality: Assist the Project Manager with planning and site activities, monitor construction quality and progress, and ensure work complies with specifications, approved procedures, inspections, and testing requirements.
Technical issue resolution: Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, authorities, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues, defects, non-conforming work, and site matters throughout the project lifecycle.
Bachelor’s Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
At least 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project planning, quality control, and technical documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Willingness to travel or work at project sites when required.
