Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an on-site Site Supervisor to oversee construction personnel and ensure adherence to drawings, safety rules, and timelines.

You will coordinate materials, manage deliveries, and maintain accurate site reports while liaising with management and workers to meet project milestones.

Responsibilities

• Site supervision: ensure contractors follow drawings, safety standards and quality.
• Monitor daily progress, resolve site issues promptly, and maintain reports.
• Plan site surveys, prepare technical proposals, and attend site visits.
• Coordinate permits, CBYD submissions, and utility coordination meetings.

• On-Site Management: Supervise construction personnel, delegate daily tasks, and organize work schedules to ensure deadlines are met
• Safety & Compliance: Identify potential hazards, enforce safety rules, and ensure all workers comply with industry regulations and use protective equipment
• Resource Coordination: Oversee inventory, manage orders, and coordinate deliveries of building materials and equipment
• Communication & Reporting: Serve as the bridge between management and workers. Maintain accurate attendance and site reports, and attend management meetings

Scope of Work:

1. Site Survey and Technical Proposal

• Plan for Site survey
• Prepare Technical Proposal (TP) after survey completion
• Attend Site Visit with LA/LC / utilities / Contractor etc.

2. Project Planning & Pre-Implementation

• Pre-Con: project implementation plan prior to site commencement.
• Trigger and monitor all required permits to start work
• Ensure insurance coverage is approved before site mobilization.
• Request and monitor CBYD submissions through the CBYD Portal.
• Coordinate Joint Site Verification (JSV) and CBYD sessions with utility providers (e.g. TNB, TM, Gas Malaysia, Air Selangor, local authorities).
• Obtain utility contact details and arrange coordination meetings.
• Request utility scanning services and monitor progress until completion.

3. Material & Resource Coordination

• Estimate material requirements based on approved drawings and site conditions.
• Material Request and Approval
• Monitor material ordering and delivery schedules.
• Ensure manpower and equipment are available according to project schedule.

4. Site Supervision

• Ensure contractors perform work according to approved drawings, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Monitor daily work progress and resolve site issues promptly.
• Verify daily site reports and maintain proper documentation.
• Ensure project milestones are achieved according to schedule.
