Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a construction site supervisor to manage day-to-day operations, ensuring progress aligns with schedule and budget while minimising waste.

You will liaise with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers; monitor quality and safety; direct workers; resolve site issues; and keep accurate progress records.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations on construction site, ensuring that project progresses according to schedule and budget and control material wastage.
• Liaising with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of materials and services.
• Monitoring the quality of workmanship and materials to ensure compliance with building codes, specifications, and safety standards.
• Directing and supervising construction workers and subcontractors to ensure that work is carried out according to plans and specifications.
• Identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that arise during construction, such as design discrepancies, material shortages, or unforeseen site conditions.
• Enforcing safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on the construction site.
• Keeping accurate records of project progress, including daily logs, reports, and documentation of any changes or deviations from the original plans.
• Monitoring project costs and expenditures to ensure that they stay within budgetary constraints.
