Job summary

ANTARAMASA DEVELOPMENT SDN BHD is seeking an on-site coordination professional in Negeri Sembilan to manage daily site activities and resolve issues with the main contractor and consultants. The role focuses on ensuring schedule adherence and effective communication across project teams.

Candidates should have a Diploma or higher in civil engineering or related field, 2–5 years of construction experience, and strong ability to read drawings. Excellent stakeholder communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor progress to ensure adherence to construction schedule and avoid LAD.
• Bridge HQ project team, main contractor, and external consultants.
• Address site obstructions, material delays, and logistical issues to keep work moving.
• Verify progress claims to assist HQ QS in monthly claims.

• - Focused on logistics, managing communication between the main contractor and consultants, and resolving daily site issues.
• - Progress Monitoring: Ensuring the main contractor adheres to the Master Construction Schedule to avoid late delivery liquidated damages (LAD).
• - Cross-Party Coordination: Acting as the bridge between the developer's HQ project team, the main contractor, and external consultants (architects, C&S engineers).
• - Problem Solving: Addressing immediate site obstructions, material delays, or logistical issues to keep work moving forward.
• - Progress Claim Verification: Visually assessing work completion percentages to help the HQ quantity surveyor (QS) verify the contractor's monthly progress claims.

Requirements

• Diploma and above in civil engineering, quality surveying, architectural or others construction related field.
• At least 2-5 years' experience in construction.
• Technical knowledge: familiarity with construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Proven experience in on-site coordination related to construction industries in Malaysia.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, isometric drawings, and layout plans.
• Excellent communication skills. Able to effectively communicate with all related stakeholders.
