Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Site Coordinator cum Electrical Technician to supervise electrical installation works and manage on-site activities in alignment with project plans.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience in retrofit projects or hospital/shopping complex upgrades, with strong coordination and problem-solving skills. Candidates should be able to work long hours and under pressure in a contractor environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 to 2 years of working experience is required for this position.
• Experienced in Retrofit/Project in Building, Shopping complex or Hospital upgrading
• Experienced in site management and relationship with all levels.

Responsibilities

• To carry out supervision and monitoring of all the electrical installation works.
• Supervise and control daily work activities, and ensuring material and equipment, personnel and tools are available to perform the work.
• To carry out all materials / product receiving, handling & storage in accordance with the SOP.
• Check and inspect works in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plans.
• Ensure all necessary inspection and testing are performed and verified / passed before proceeding to the next stage of construction or installation work.
• Maintain site diary to record daily activities at site.
• To coordinate with the other construction / installation works by the others trades at site. Eg. M&E works.
• Prompt reporting of any non-conformances to Project Manager / Construction Manager.
• To ensure all the construction / installation at site shall follows / base on the approved works programme by client / SO / Consultant.
• Attend coordination meetings, safety meetings and technical meetings as and when required.
• Any other duties assigned by Project Manager / Construction Manager from time to time.
