Job summary

Ground Five ID Sdn Bhd seeks a Site Supervisor to oversee construction crews, monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards on-site in Malaysia. You will liaise with clients, architects, and stakeholders while ensuring proper documentation and daily site reporting.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a similar role, strong carpentry and safety knowledge, and a valid driving license with willingness to travel to sites as required.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry, ID Background will be in advantage.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, carpentry joinery and materials, and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address issues that arise on-site
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical specifications
• A valid driving license and the ability to travel to project sites as required

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating the work of construction crews, including tradesmen, labourers, and subcontractors
• Monitoring the progress of construction projects and ensuring they adhere to established timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• Liaising with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns that arise
• Ensure that project team maintaining proper documentation, daily site reports and inspections
• Participating in the planning and scheduling of construction activities
• Gather all project information i.e. schedules, data request, assignments, tasks and project meetings
• Maintain document & drawings control, database management, track project activities and team communication
• Responsible for delivering building development projects of varying size and complexity
• Responsible for directing, organizing and controlling project activities, under the direction of a Project Manager / Project Director
• Compiling Final Documentation of construction and QAQC works
