Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced M&E Site Supervisor to oversee subcontractors and coordinate with architectural and structural teams on site. This role focuses on ensuring works align with approved drawings, specifications, and local regulations.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 3 years of site supervision experience, and familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3 years of experience in site supervision for construction projects.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or BIM (Revit) is a strong plus.
• Understanding of local utility authority requirements.

Responsibilities

• Site Supervision: oversee M&E subcontractors to ensure work follows drawings and specs.
• Technical Coordination: liaise with architectural and C&S teams to resolve clashes.
• Quality Control: conduct site inspections and manage testing/commissioning of systems.

· Site Supervision: Supervise M&E subcontractors NSCs to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.

· Technical Coordination: Coordinate with Architectural and C&S (Civil & Structural) teams to resolve any design clashes or site constraints.

· Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections and manage the testing and commissioning (T&C) of systems (e.g., HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, and electrical distribution).

· Safety & Compliance: Ensure all M&E activities adhere to local building codes, energy regulations, and EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) protocols.

Requirements

· Education: Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

· Experience: 3 years of experience in site supervision, preferably within [Residential/Commercial/Industrial] construction.

· Familiarity with AutoCAD or BIM (Revit) is a strong plus.

· Deep understanding of local utility authority requirements (e.g., power grid, water supply).

· Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, leadership under pressure, and the ability to manage diverse subcontractors.
