Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Site Clerk to support our construction project site located at Section 13, Shah Alam. You will handle general clerical tasks, document distribution, and site reporting to keep the project running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has STPM or Diploma, 1-2 years' construction site experience, strong communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with ability to work overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• STPM or Diploma in Business Administration/Management, Office Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-2 years of related working experience in construction projects. (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.)
• Good knowledge of site documentation, material requisition, and record keeping.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and basic site reporting.
• Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks at the project site.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Medically fit and in good health condition.
• Able to work overtime during certain periods when required.

Responsibilities

• To ensure all general clerical, typing, photostating and filing duties is completed and updated from time to time.
• To receive and distribute incoming documents for the office with proper record of distribution.
• To record outgoing correspondences with proper reference numbers and files.
• To attend to telephone calls/ guests and taking down messages/ enquiries in the absence of immediate superior.
• To prepare material requisitions, progress reports, summary of day work and piling summary report, subcontractors’ progress claims, etc.
• To assist in office equipment maintenance, stationery requisition, control and distribution.
• To attend to mailing and courier services.
• To assist in maintenance of petty cash.
