SINOHYDRO CORPORATION (M) SDN BHD - KOTA KINABALU is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to drawings, specs, and safety standards. You will monitor structural, architectural and M&E works, inspect workmanship, and manage subcontractors and site staff on a high-rise project.
The role requires coordinating with project team and consultants, attending progress meetings, and delivering weekly progress reports.
Supervise daily construction activities and ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications and method statements.
Monitor structural, architectural and M&E works.
Inspect workmanship and construction quality.
Ensure subcontractors and workers perform according to schedule.
Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineer, Site Supervisor, Subcontractors, Consultants and suppliers.
Attend site coordination and progress meetings.
Resolve site problems, drawing discrepancies and construction issues.
Coordinate manpower, materials and equipment requirements.
Monitor daily and weekly work progress.
Ensure work is completed according to the construction schedule.
Identify potential delays and report to management.
Prepare weekly site progress reports.
Ensure construction works meet project specifications and quality standards.
Follow up on defects and rectification works.
Coordinate with Safety Health Officer to monitor and ensure workers comply with site safety requirements.
Monitor site instructions and construction drawings.
Diploma or Degree in Construction Management or any other related qualifications.
Preferably 5 years in high-rise construction project.
Experience coordinating consultants and multiple trades.
Preferably to speak in Chinese, Malay and English in professional settings.
